Sony HD 3D LED TV

The Sony XBR52HX909 52 inch 1080p 540Hz LED 3D HDTV is here.  2010 is the year of the 3D television viewing experience and we all know that Samsung has made great strides in the 3D viewing department. Well now the new Sony HD 3D LED TV is available. This TV is new and a lot of reviews are not out yet. But if you are a Sony fan you will probably like this TV.

This TV has a lot of cool features not the least of which is the Sony BRAVIA HX909 Intelligent Dynamic LED Backlight LCD HDTV with 3D1. In other words this TV has a great pictures with the blackest of blacks and the whitest of whites. Clear brilliant colors and pictures in full HD 1080p resolution. This TV is also 3D compatible, but you will need an additional 3D IR Emitter and Sony 3D glasses.

This TV also comes with Internet Video so you can instantly stream movies, TV shows, and music from a variety of entertainment apps. Such as You Tube and Netflix. It also is Wi-Fi adapter ready so that you can connect to all of your digital media with a couple of clicks. It also has a USB input for viewing photos or listening to music from your iPod or USB hard drive.

It is also DLNA compatible so that you can use a device like your PS3 or a Western Digital Live Media Player to access media. This TV also comes with something called remote control 7. Which has a push button feature that converts 2D media to 3D media.

A recap of some of the features of Sony’s 3D TV offering are Full HD 1080p resolution so that you can enjoy all of the latest in 3D Blu-ray titles, which you can watch using your Blu-ray player or your PS3. Sony also uses motion flow technology to deliver a crisp fluid picture during fast action sequences.

You can also experience exceptional color contrast and extraordinary accuracy in each frame with the Intelligent Image Enhancer. You will also need the Sony 3D active shutter glasses and IR transmitter in order to view 3D movies and games on your new Sony HD 3D LED TV.

The bottom line is this TV worth it. If you are a Sony fan or an early adopter it may well be worth the money. If you are very selective with all of you purchases and don’t need a new TV right away you may want to wait until more reviews are out or until the industry standard is established.

Bottom line if you can afford it this is a nice TV, but it never hurt anyone to shop around until they find exactly what they are looking for.
